The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. La toile présente une très légère ondulation. Quelques petits points d’accrétion sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Quelques très légères traces de frottement sont visibles le long des bords. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l'œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is not lined. The surface is slightly dusty. The canvas undulates very slightly. Some small pinpoint accretions are visible in places to the surface. Some minor rubbing is visible along the edges. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
