The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior exhibits dents, marks and wear, paint loses to the canvas, small perforations to the canvas and to the wooden slats. The wooden slats appear to have been sandblasted. The mention on the top lid is faded. The lozine trim exhibits dents and marks. Hardware exhibits scratches, marks and rust.

Interior is incomplete, it exhibits significant cracks, marks, wear and tear to the lining paper with visible wooden parts, humidity stains and marks.
