The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corners, undulates slightly, and the edges of the sheet are deckled. Artist pinholes are near the upper edges, a small hairline loss is to the upper edge at center, and a handling mark is to the lower left edge, all possibly in keeping with the artist's working method. A faint abrasion is near the center right edge. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
