The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. A fine layer of surface dust is present, most notably to the interior crevices. Minor wear, faint rubbing, handling marks and a few fine abrasions are occasional to the corner-tips and edges. Visble under close inspection, fine drying cracks and faint drip accretions are occasional. Two tiny losses are to the upper left corner of the inner element and another one is to the lower right quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
