The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The flatwoven surface is mostly stable and in excellent condition throughout. There are one or two minute small splits which measure less than 3cm. and which could be easily repaired by a professional restorer. There are some faint surface stains where the surface has slightly discoloured but these cover less than 2% and are well disguised. The sides and ends are original and secure. There is an old material lining which could be removed and replaced. Following a professional clean and a few minor repairs this carpet would be in excellent condition.
