The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A fine layer of surface dust is present. The unstretched canvas is hinged to the backing board at the upper edge. Artist's pinholes are to the upper and lower left corner-tips of the margins of the canvas. Minor wear and slight fraying is to the edges of the unstretched canvas. A few pinpoint losses and accretions are occasional, most notably to the upper half of the canvas. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
