The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
An approx. 4 cm. long hairline going down from the mouth rim, with associated minute losses along the crack line, and an associated very small restuck chip to the mouth rim.
A nick and an old flat chip under the foot ring.
A few small surface chips and a few nicks and flakes to the mouth rim.
A few frits and nicks to the side handles.
A few kiln grit adhesions inside the censer.
Some deep scratches.
Age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
