The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Painted glazed ceramic. The structure is sound and stable (no apparent cracks). The yellow element has been affixed to the blue one as visible from the concrete / glue remnants at the junctions between the two elements. Some pale surface dirt with a few associated small stains and spots of accretions in places. A very few further minute and soft passages of rubbing to the glazing, mainly visible on the white pigments. A few minute bubbles in places inherent to the firing process. Three lines of irregularities at the upper part of the yellow element, dating from the time of execution. No apparent chips. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this works appears to be in generally very good condition.

Céramique peinte et émaillée. La structure est saine et stable (aucune fissure apparente). L’élément jaune a été fixé à l’élément bleu, comme en témoignes les résidus de ciment/colle aux jonctions des deux éléments. Légère salissure de surface associée à de rares petites taches et points de saleté par endroits. De très rares autres minuscules et légers passages d’usure de l’émail, principalement visible dans les pigments blancs. De rares et minuscules bulles par endroits, inhérentes au processus de cuisson. Trois lignes d’irrégularités dans la partie supérieure de l’élément jaune, datant de l’époque d’exécution. Pas d’éclats apparents. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparait en très bonne condition générale.
