Le tableau est peint sur un panneau qui est couvert de papier et d'une ancienne étiquette ne permettant pas de voir distinctement la composition du support. Le panneau est stable.
Le tableau possède une jolie matière et de riches empâtements. Le tableau est légèrement encrassé.
A l'UV, on constate de légères retouches le long du bord supérieur et sur le bord gauche, probablement causées par des frottements du cadre.
Dans un cadre en bois doré sculpté, avec un cartouche 'The Bird Fancier / JIMENEZ Y ARANDA' (approx. 36,5 x 29,5 x 5 cm).

The paint has retained the painter's fluid touch and a rich impasto. The painting carries some slight dirt.
Examination under UV light shows slight retouching along the top edge and on the left edge, probably a result of slight frame abrasion.
In a carved giltwood frame, with a cartouche ‘The Bird Fancier / JIMENEZ Y ARANDA’ (approx. 36,5 x 29,5 x 5 cm).
