The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

One cover:
There is a Y-shaped crack inside.
There is an underglaze flat chip to the rim.

One jar:
A small chip inside the foot rim.
A small chip and a few small nicks to the relief decoration / edges.

The other jar:
A C-shaped hairline inside (not going through).
A few short hairlines in places.

Both jars:
Some areas of extensive wear to the enamels around the mouth rim.

A few scattered firing faults/firing cracks in places.
Age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
