The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
These tables are in reasonable overall condition
There are the inevitable marks, chips, losses and restorations consistent with age and use
Table A: the top with a horizontal shrinkage split spanning the width, significant wear to the gilding and gesso decoration, in particular to the feet where there are more significant losses revealing the timber beneath
Table B: also with a horizontal shrinkage split spanning the width and one vertical to the back left hand corner, similarly with chips and losses to the decoration in particular to the front left leg, this would benefit from restoration to avoid further losses
Both tables with traces of historic, apparently inactive woodworm to the underside, each with later glass protective top
Structurally sound and ready to place
