The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corner-tips and undulates. Minor wear is to the corner-tips and edges. A few faint microabrasions are occasional, visible only under raking light. A few pinpoint accretions are to the lower register and a few faint drip accretions are to the lower right corner. Visible under ultraviolet light, a tiny accretion is to the lower register of the image near the left figure's proper left hand. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
