The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Painted glazed ceramic. The structure is sound and stable (no apparent cracks). Some pale surface dirt with a few associated small stains and spots of accretions in places. A very few further minute and soft passages of rubbing to the glazing, mainly visible on the white pigments. Two or three small passages of glaze losses to the white pigments of the left side. A few minute bubbles in places inherent to the firing process. No apparent chips. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Céramique peinte et émaillée. La structure est saine et stable (aucune fissure apparente). Légère salissure de surface associée à de rares petites taches et points de saleté par endroits. De très rares autres minuscules et légers passages d’usure de l’émail, principalement visible dans les pigments blancs. Deux ou trois petits passages de manques d’émail dans les pigments blanc du bord gauche. De rares et minuscules bulles par endroits, inhérentes au processus de cuisson. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
