In superb condition and sold with full set, this Platinum IW524204 Portuguese Minute Repeater was made in a limited edition of only 100 pieces. With an impressive diameter of 43 mm., it is beautifully designed with a classic mid-century style silvered dial. Visible through the sapphire crystal display back, the in-house manufactured caliber 95290 movement showcases one of watchmaking’s most outstanding achievements – the minute repeater. When activated by the repeating slide, the minute repeater chimes the precise time to the minute in harmonious tones. A single strike for each elapsed hour, followed by a double strike for each quarter followed by a further single strike for each elapsed minute after the quarter hour. With manual-winding, the subsidiary seconds incorporates a hacking feature for precise setting and provides a power reserve of 43 hours.
