The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the corners to the backing board and undulates very slightly. The edges of the sheet are deckled. Minor compression is to the corner-tips. A few spots of wear are to the lower edge, possibly artist studio related. An embedded accretion, possibly a brush hair or piece of paper, is to the lower burst form, presumably from the artist's studio. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
