The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work appears to be structurally sound. There are inconsistencies in the bronze patina, in keeping with the artist's working method. There are minor surface abrasions in places, most visible to the upper left, the reverse, and to the proper right side of the owl. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
