Le tableau est sur sa toile d'origine, qui est correctement maintenue sous tension. L'ensemble est stable.

A l'oeil nu, le tableau se présente dans un bel état. Il a préservé de beaux empâtements, tout particulièrement dans les drapés. On constate quelques légères craquelures, principalement dans les carnations qui ne gênent néanmoins pas la lecture du tableau.

L'examen sous lumière ultraviolette révèle quelques retouches ponctuelles mineures, limitées principalement au coin supérieur droit, et dans la partie inférieure du torse du personnage. Une petite zone de retouche est aussi visible en haut à gauche de la signature. Bon état général aux UV.

La matière reste stable.

Dans un cadre en bois doré (approx. 120 x 96,5 x 7 cm).

The painting is on its original canvas, which is correctly maintained under tension.

The painting is in excellent condition. It has preserved some fine impasto, particularly in the drapery. There is some very fine craquelure, notably in the skin tones, this does not affect the legibility of the painting.

Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some minor spot retouching, limited mainly to the upper right corner, and in the lower part of the figure's torso. A small area of retouching is also visible at the top left of the signature. The paint remains stable.

In a giltwood frame (approx. 120 x 96.5 x 7 cm).
