The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue sans cadre. L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. Une très légère déformation du châssis est visible le long des bords. De légères usures, traces de frottement, traces de manipulation et légers manques sont visibles par endroits le long des bords. Quelques petites accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: quelques zones de repeints sont visibles dans la partie gauche et centrale. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold without a frame. The canvas is not lined. A very slight distortion of the stretcher is visible along the edges. There are a few minor wears, rubbing, handling marks and medium losses in places along the edges. There are small accretions in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: some areas of inpainting are visible to the left and central parts. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
