The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Not examined out of frame. Overall good condition with very minor surface dirt. A very small abrasion at center near the upper edge. Graphite visible in the baseball, likely original to the work. No apparent touch-ups or inpainting visible under natural light. Not examined under ultraviolet light. Please note that Christie's does not guarantee the condition of frames.
