The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This work has not been examined unframed. A few pinpoint accretions are infrequent to the margins of the sheet. Visible under raking light, two fine microabrasions are just below the text in a dark red colored passage and another is to the lower left quadrant of the image. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
