The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is relined. Minor frame abrasions with occasional tiny accretions are to the extreme edges. Tiny losses to the support are to the corner-tips. Stable networks of hairline craquelure are scattered. A minute protrusion with an associated pigment loss are to the center lower edge. Visible only under raking light, a short repair with an associated line of adhesive residue is to the lower right quadrant, and another is along the upper edge. Visible under ultraviolet light, small spots of inpainting are to the edges, and additional minute spots are scattered.
