The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior exhibits dents, scratches and marks, visible wear to the canvas covering the hinges, the wooden slats appears to have been sandblasted. The lozine trim exhibits prominent patina, significant scratches and dents. The initials on each side are partially faded. The leather closure strap is missing. Hardware appears to have been cleaned and polished, still it exhibits dents and scratches.
