The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is slightly undulated. The paint layer is stable and the colours are vibrant. Upon close inspection, minute accretions occasionally to the surface, most noticeably a paper accretion to the lower center. A negligible lifted white paint in the upper left quadrant towards the centre. Minute tension cracks, light abrasions and rubbing intermittently to the extreme turning edges. When inspected under ultraviolet light, there is no apparent inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in overall very good condition.
