Sepia toned studio portrait showing Lou Gehrig in western attire related to his one major motion picture credit, an appearance as himself in the 1938 release, Rawhide. Signed in fountain pen “To Pat, In my eyes the real queen of Rochester - and may every wish worthy of you be doubly granted, Sincerely Lou Gehrig.” Marked “Photograph by Morgan” on the back which has a touch of scrapbook residue. Front displays light toning with flaws largely confined to the corners (each of which has a small tape stain) and there is a minor crease at upper left. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA with the autograph graded PSA/DNA 6 EX-MT (a touch conservative in our opinion): EX-MT
