Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
- Overall condition good. Some small abrasions/chips/surface reaching inclusions to beads - Marks: pin guard on brooch stamped 14K. Necklace clasp signed VCA and numbered - Small wire/hook on the reverse of the lozenge which suspends the emerald bead and ruby tassel. The end of the wire has been soldered to the edge of brooch. Appears to have originally been moveable to allow for the emerald bead to be detached and the ruby tassel to be suspended from the lozenge - Ruby torsade on the lower right of the necklace (when viewed front on) is missing one strand of beads - this is only noticeable upon close inspection - Please refer to the Conditions of Sale for further information regarding coloured stones
