The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Watercolour and pen and India ink on laid paper. Blind stamped. Hinged to the mount at the reverse upper sheet corners. The sheet edges with old paper tape (approx. 5mm., not visible in the mount). Mild light and mount staining. Fox marks, spots of discolouration and mild surface dirt in places. A very soft horizontal crease towards the upper centre and soft handling marks in places at the edges. The reverse with historic hinges along the upper edge. The ink is strong and fresh. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
