The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
No restorations detected. Areas of fritting to some of the raised lines. A couple of short cracks to the raised line above the bull's head with an associated tiny chip. One chip and two engobe losses to the rim. Networks of crazing to the glaze, inherent to the medium. Unevenness to the black oxide, probably from the firing process. The underneath with one footmark from the time of firing, some adhesive residue remnants and light wear to the footrim. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.
