The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is lined. Light soiling is visible. Wear, losses, rubbing and slight fraying of the canvas is to the corner-tips and extreme edges. A linear abrasion and slight lifting of the paint is to the lower left corner. A few linear abrasions are occasional. Flaking paint with associated small losses are scattered. Drying cracks, some with associated pinpoint losses, are occasional, most notably to the figures. A faint drip accretion is near the left register. Pinpoint accretions are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
