The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- the colours fresh and bright.
- some small creases at the upper and lower sheet corners (mainly visible on the reverse).
- stray dots of black printing ink at the lower left sheet edge.
- a handling indentation beneath the gold at centre, and a few other minor indentations near the sheet edges (mainly visible in a raking light).
- remains of fabric hinges on the reverse and hinged with paper tape at various places along the edges verso; the reverse therefore only partially examined.
Otherwise as described and in generally very good condition.
