The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L’œuvre est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par des charnières le long du bord supérieur. La feuille a très légèrement jauni et présente une très légère ondulation. Les bords supérieur et inférieur sont légèrement irréguliers. Quelques trous de punaise de l’artiste sont visibles dans les angles supérieurs. Quelques très petits points d’accrétion sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support along the upper edge. The sheet has very slightly yellowed and undulates very slightly. The upper and lower edges are slightly irregular. Some pinholes by the artist are visible to the upper corners. A few very small pinpoint accretions are visible in places to the surface. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
