The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support en polyester avec de la colle le long du bord droit. Les bords sont irréguliers. La feuille a très légèrement jauni. Deux déchirures sont visibles le long du bord inférieur: l’une, plus visible, dans le quart inférieur gauche, l’autre dans le quart inférieur droit. Une très légère trace de pliure est visible dans l’angle supérieur gauche. Présence de quelques petits trous: deux le long du bord inférieur, un au niveau de la veste du personnage au centre et un autre dans la partie grise du quart supérieur gauche. Les irrégularités de surface sont inhérentes à la méthode de travail de l’artiste. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a polyester support with glue along the right edge. The edges are irregular. The sheet has slightly yellowed. Two tears are visible along the lower edge: one, more visible, to the lower left quadrant, the other one to the lower right quadrant. A very slight folding mark is visible to the upper left corner. There are a few small holes: two along the lower edge, one in the area of the jacket of the central figure, and another one in the grey area to the upper left quadrant. The irregularities to the surface are inherent to the artist’s working method. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
