The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing, and all functions are working; however, a service is recommended at the purchaser's discretion. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Dial: The dial has debris and a hairline crack from 2 to 6 o’clock. The hands have oxidation.
Case: The case and crystal have scratches and light nicks. Hallmarks are crisp and well-defined.
Bracelet: The bracelet has scratches and wear with some stretching.
Accessory: The inside of the box has light flaking.
Overall Condition: Very good

Please note that the bracelet size is measured with the watch head attached.

We do not give a warranty that any watch or clock is in good working order or whether it can be accepted for service or serviced by its manufacturer. Certificates are not available unless described in the catalogue.

(c) Most watches have been opened to find out the type and quality of movement. For that reason, watches with water resistant cases may not be waterproof, and we recommend you have them checked by a competent watchmaker before use.
