The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- the red very slightly attenuated, the metallic inks in very good condition.
- several handling indentations across the sheet, most noticeable at the upper left corner (mainly visible in a raking light).
- two linear indentations in the upper sheet in the unprinted area, with one fractionally into the black (mainly visible in a raking light)
- some indentations at the sheet edges from hinges verso.
- remains of paper and fabric hinges on the reverse.
- hinged with paper tape at various places along the edges verso; the reverse therefore only partially examined.
Otherwise as described and in generally very good condition.
