The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There is paper tape along the turnover edges. There are stretcher marks visible along the upper horizontal edge, with associated cracks. There are craquelures in places, predominantly in the upper centre. There is wear with associated losses on the extreme edges. Examination under ultra violet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
