The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheets, with deckle edges at right and below.
- Plate I very slightly toned.
- Plates IV, V, VI and the final, unnumbered plate with some minor, scattered pinpoint foxing, mainly in the lower margin.
- Plates VII & VIII very slightly toned in the margins.
- all with remains of small paper hinges at the upper sheet corners verso.
- the unbound text pages with some very minor toning, pinpoint foxing and a couple of soft creases in places.
- the portfolio with a pale red stain on the cover, the inner cardboard flaps partially split.
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
