The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par des charnières dans les angles. Le dessin est réalisé sur une feuille pliée et assemblée en deux. La feuille a très légèrement jauni et présente une très légère ondulation. Les bords sont légèrement irréguliers et présentent quelques légères froissures du papier et traces de manipulation de l'artiste par endroits. Quelques petits points d'accrétion superficiels sont par endroits sur la surface, uniquement visibles en lumière rasante. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a carboard support to the corners. The drawing is executed on a paper sheet which is folded and assembled. The sheet has very slightly yellowed and undulates very slightly. The edges are slightly irregular and present a few slight superficial creases and handling marks by the artist in places. A few small superficial pinpoint accretions are in places to the surface, only visible under raking light. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
