The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One lion:
- Proper right ear restored and a chip to the proper left ear
- Chips to a few teeth and to the flange, a chip to the tip of fur of proper left hind leg
- The tail has been restuck with associated overpainting and cracks to vase

One stand:
- A long crack running across from one upper corner to base
- A few other hair cracks which may be firing cracks
- Chip to a few corners and edges

The other lion:
- Chip to proper right ear and teeth
- Both ears restored
- Tail has been restuck with associated repaired cracks to base

The other stand:
- A shallow chip to one yellow vertical ornament
- A few other hair cracks which may be firing cracks
