The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La surface est très légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Quelques très légères traces de frottement et petites accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Un très petit éclat, associé à une très fine craquelure, est visible dans la partie supérieure au centre. Examinée à la lumière UV: quelques points de repeint sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The surface is very slightly dirty and dusty. Some minor rubbing and a few small accretions are visible in places to the surface. A very small chip, associated to a very fine crack, is visible to the upper center. Examined under UV light: some points of inpainting are visible in places to the surface. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
