In addition to the various colourways of Choose Your Weapon that were offered by public release, there were two 'VIP' editions, produced in Gold and Silver which were allocated to a small number of collectors.
Produced in respective editions of 25, this is the first time that a Gold example has been offered at auction. Only one example from the Silver VIP edition has been offered at auction, from the collection of Marsha and Robin Williams in 2018, which set a record price for any colourway of Choose Your Weapon at the time of sale.
