The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. A vertical fold mark is apparent across the centre of the work. Minor creases and tears are present along the edges, especially to the four corners. One spot of paper loss to the top right corner. Three areas of restoration due to paint losses are visible upon close inspection one to the middle left edge, one to the middle lower edge and middle right corner. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front with faint traces of paper consolidation visible along the edges and on the horizontal fold mark.
