With a clean, complete well-maintained appearance, structurally sound. With scattered age and construction cracks. Some very minor variation in the heights of the seats. Overall with general marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use. Regilt, with scattered chips, losses to carving and gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole and bare wood in areas as to be expected with age. Some minor scattered repairs to extremities of the shaped rails. Overall with evidence of minor previous woodworm, now inactive, one chaise with some infill at its interior, to areas of more prominent woodworm. A few of the corners with evidence of previous glue-blocks, now removed. Recently reupholstered, the upholstery with a few very minor marks, faint discoloration and overall signs of very light wear, as to be expected. Ready to place.
