拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper edge. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone. Minor wear and a few tiny tears and nicks are to the corner-tips and edges. Handling indents and creasing are occasional, most notably to the edges. A fine linear abrasion is right of center in a black colored passage and another is just above center to the left in a pink colored passage. A few small transfer marks are visible, presumably a vestige of the artist's working method. Visible under ultraviolet light, time staining is to the edges. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
