The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

1. Exterior exhibits scratches, dents and marks, wear to the corners, marks to the bottom, leather to the handle exhibits creasing and dryness. Hardware exhibits oxidation.
Interior appears to have been restored, still it exhibits marks and humidity stains.

2. Exterior exhibits dents, scratches, humidity stains and marks, it appears that the trunk have been varnished, there are some losses to the leather, some studs and rivets exhibits verdigris, leather to the handle exhibits creasing and dryness. The lozine trim exhibits prominent patina, dents, marks and some losses. Hardware appears to have been cleaned and polished, still it exhibits scratches and marks.
Interior is incomplete, it exhibits marks, stains and a musty odor.
