The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. Présence de quelques très légères traces de frottement le long des arêtes verticales. Présence de deux trous d'agrafes le long du bord supérieur, vers la droite. Un empâtement est très légèrement aplati et un autre présente un point d'éclat de matière dans le quart supérieur droit, vers le bord supérieur. Examinée à la lumière UV: présence de zones de reprise de l'artiste le long des bords. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. There are a few minor rubbings along the vertical extreme edges. There are two staple holes along the upper edge, towards the right. An impasto is very slightly flattened and another presents a point of paint chip, to the upper right corner towards the upper edge. Examined under UV light: there are areas of retouching by the artist along the edges. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
