The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work was inspected within its frame, therefore the sides couldn't be checked but the reverse is visible. Pinpoint brownish accretions to the lower right quadrant near the jar. Two faint scratches to the lower right quadrant and the upper right of the painted frame, visible only upon close inspection. Four pinpoint brownish stains to the lower left of the painted frame. When inspected under ultraviolet light, no apparent signs of inpainting can be seen.
