- Overall condition good. Scratches and nicks to the metal throughout, consistent with normal wear. Small area of tarnish to the clasp. Necklace clasp secure.
Pendent necklace:
- Additional marks: French assay marks for 18 carat gold, 750, maker's mark 'Ste egg M' for Roger Mathon to the clasp, pendant signed CARTIER PARIS.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 1.50 - 2.00 carats.
Ring:
- Additional marks: French assay mark for 18 carat gold, 750, partial maker's mark 'A goat' for André Vassort, '0,53 ct' referring to the carat weight of the principal pear-shaped diamond, signed Cartier PARIS (in different fonts).
- Diamonds: principal diamond stated to weigh 0.53 carat, unable to assess colour and clarity due to mounting, possibly H to I colour, VS clarity. Remaining diamonds total weight approximately 0.80 - 0.90 carat, one small diamond deficient.
