The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par des charnières le long des bords. La feuille a très légèrement jauni, principalement le long des bords. Quelques très petits arrachages de papiers sont le long des bords supérieur et droit. Deux anciennes déchirures reconsolidées sont le long du bord droit, dans la partie inférieure. Quelques minuscules points de piqûre et accrétions superficielles sont par endroits sur la surface, uniquement visibles en lumière rasante. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support along the edges. The sheet has very slightly yellowed, mostly along the edges. There are a few small areas of paper ripping along the upper and right edges. Two former reconsolidated tears are along the right edge, to the lower part. A few minute points of foxing and superficial accretions are in places to the surface, only visible under racking light. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
