The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound and stable. The losses, erosions, and other surface irregularities observed in certain areas are consistent with the artist’s intended technique. Owing to the inherent nature of the material, minor particulate losses or detachment of small elements may occur with handling. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall very good condition.
