The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of frame. The edges of the panel are covered by its frame. The work is structurally sound. There are some minor surface inconsistencies, in keeping with the nature of the panel. There are some pinpoint paint losses in places, the most visible to the centre of the left vertical edge and to the centre of the lower horizontal edge. There is a minor brown media mark to the white passage in the lower left quadrant. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
