The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Quelques très fines craquelures de séchage stables sont dans une partie jaune au centre de la composition. Quelques points d'accrétion sont par endroits sur la surface, uniquement visibles en lumière rasante. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The canvas undulates very slightly to the upper corners, which is only visible under raking light. A few very thin and stable drying cracks are to a yellow area to the center of the composition. A few pinpoint accretion are in places to the surface, only visible under raking light. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
